Chinese Ambassador to DPRK Hosts Reception

 Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, gave a reception at his embassy on September 30 on the occasion of the 77th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.
Present there on invitation were Kim Hyong Sik, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Mun Song Hyok, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Myong Su, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Ryu Un Hae, vice-minister of External Economic Relations, officials concerned and members of the diplomatic corps in the DPRK.
Staff members of the Chinese embassy and Chinese guests staying here were on hand.
Wang Yajun made a speech at the reception.
Referring to the innovative development made by new China in various fields, including state administration, economy and people's living, he said all the successes are the fruits of the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China and the indomitable united struggle of the Chinese people.
The top leaders of the two parties and two countries indicated the orientation for the China-DPRK relations to develop with the times through the two historic Pyongyang summit meetings, thus injecting fresh vitality into the socialist cause of the two countries, he noted.
Then, Kim Hyong Sik made a speech.
He said that the founding of the People's Republic of China is an epochal event that opened up a new phase in shaping the destiny of the Chinese people and laid a firm foundation for them to proudly emerge in the world arena and achieve the prosperity of the Chinese nation.
He expressed the will to make joint efforts, together with the Chinese comrades, to promote exchange and cooperation in all fields and consolidate the DPRK-China friendship in the interests of the peoples of the two countries, true to the spirit of the important agreement between the top leaders of the two parties and two countries.
The participants in the reception toasted the health of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and respected Comrade Xi Jinping, the prosperity of the People's Republic of China and the steady development of the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations.
