Founding Anniversary of Samsin Coal Mine Observed

 Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- The Samsin Coal Mine marked its 80th founding anniversary.
President Kim Il Sung, who regarded it as an urgent issue for building a new country to increase coal production after national liberation, saw to it that the coal mine was founded on October 1, 1946 and visited the coal mine to clearly indicate the path to be followed by it.
Chairman Kim Jong Il always paid deep attention to the work of the coal mine and highly appreciated the successes made by its officials and coal miners of the coal mine, showing warm loving care for them.
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un put forward the workers in the coal industry sector as the pillar of the country performing the most valuable feats in the vanguard of the country's development.
Over the past 80 years, officials and employees of the coal mine have faithfully upheld the idea and leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea with increased coal production and contributed to the economic development of the country and the people's living.
A meeting took place on the spot on September 30 to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the coal mine.
