Designed, written, and directed by Behrouz Gharibpour, a puppet opera under the theme "Love" was staged in Tehran’s Ferdowsi Hall with the support of the Rudaki Foundation on Sunday (October 12, 2026). The performance recounts the tale from 'The Conference of the Birds' (Mantiq al-Tayr) written by 12th century Persian poet, Farid al-Din Attar of Nishapur.

Long passed down through oral tradition, the narrative is now being also brought to the stage utilizing the art of puppetry.
