MOSCOW, July 21 (Itar-Tass) - Russian and South Korean defence
ministers confirmed on Tuesday their desire to turn the Korean Peninsula
into a nuclear-free zone at their Moscow talks.
"We discussed, seriously and in detail, the problem of nuclear
security in the Korean Peninsula at the talks," Russian Defence Minister
Anatoly Serdyukov said after the meeting. "Our positions are very close:
we believe that the Korean Peninsula should be nuclear-free."
