ASEAN experts discuss water resource management
(KPL) Twenty ASEAN experts gathered in Vientiane to discuss the improvement of ASEAN strategy action plan on water resources management in each country and Laos.
Participants from ASEAN countries reviewed each country’s working plan to fulfill their responsibilities in the implementation of the ASEAN strategic action plan. They also discussed the working plan on social and cultural matters related to water resource management.
This is the ninth meeting of the ASEAN Working Group on Water Resources Management, which took place on Monday and Tuesday.
The working group meeting is held annually and hosted on a rotating basis. Laos took this opportunity to demonstrate the country’s efforts to implement effective water resource management.
