BISHKEK, July 25 (Itar-Tass) - Vote count continues in Kyrgyzstan
where a presidential election took place on July 23.
The incumbent President Kurmanbek Bakiyev has a commanding lead
(83.8%) after more than 88.33 percent of the ballots have been counted,
the Central Commission of Election and Referenda told Itar-Tass.

His
victory is indisputable.
The united opposition candidate Almazbek Atambayev is second with 7.92
percent, while Temir Sariyev from the Ak-Shumar party comes third (2.89
percent).
A total of 516 international observers, including those from the OSCE,
the CIS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, monitored Thursday's
elections in Kyrgyzstan. The OSCE mission representative says the election
failed to meet international standards. The SCO monitors, however, have
described the polls as "democratic". They think that the vote passed
without any gross violations.
