PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV OFFERS CONDOLENCES TO IRANIAN COUNTERPART MAHMOUD AHMADINEJAD
Baku, 25 July (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on a human loss after an Iranian passenger plane skidded off the runway during its landing at the international airport in Mashhad and crashed.
The letter reads: “I share your sorrow over the tragedy occurred. On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer heartfelt condolences to you, families and relatives of the dead and the whole people of Iran and wish speedy recovery to the injured.”
May Allah rest their souls in peace!”
