Vietnamese company invests in water supply construction in Laos

(KPL) Vietnamese Ha Dao Joint Venture Company has agreed to invest in the construction of water supply plant with production capacity of 20,000 cubic metre per day in Saythany district, Vientiane Capital.
This according to a signing ceremony took place last week between Nampapa Nakhoneluang Water Supply Enterprise and Vietnamese Ha Dao Joint Venture Company. Government allowed Vietnamese company to construct a water supply production plant in Dong Bang area, Xaythany district, Vientiane
Capital.
Under the agreement, the company will produce 20,000 cubic metres daily and supply water to 10 villages nearby, including industry and new National Stadium areas.
The water supply plant construction project in Dong Bang area started constructing earlier this month, which is now 20 per cent complete.The construction is expected to be completed at the end of this year and would open for public use before the inauguration of 25th SEA Games.
The project was constructed with total investment of US$4.5 million.
Nampapa Nakhoneluang Water Supply Enterprise is responsible for water supply to local people after the project completing.
The agreement was signed on 24 July between Mr Khamseng Pachitkhunnouvong, a representative of Nampapa Nakhoneluang Water Supply Enterprise and Mr Khamphan Souvannalat, a representative of Ha Dao Joint Venture Company.
