Russia eases entry for foreign top managers

MOSCOW, August 14 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia is easing entry rules for
foreign top managers to help domestic economy recover from crisis.
The Federal Migration Service (FMS) said on Thursday it is introducing
"specific terms" for foreign managers and hopes the counterparts will
follow suit.
"The talks is about employees of foreign companies that invest into
the Russian state," FMS Deputy Director Yekaterina Yegorova told
reporters, adding "we are creating comfortable conditions for their entry
into Russia."
Employment quotas will be lifted for top managers and entry
formalities will be easy and quick, she said.
Yegorova said a special center will appear in Moscow shortly to deal
with foreign employees.
She said Russia hopes foreign countries will follow suit. "Our
businessmen also go abroad and we would like to have comfortable
conditions created also for them," Yegorova said, adding FMS cooperates
with the US Trade Chamber, the European Business Association and the
Indian Trade Alliance.
