Gunmen fire at road police post in Makhachkala
MAKHACHKALA, August 15 (Itar-Tass) - Unknown gunmen at about 12:40,
Moscow time, Saturday opened fire on a road police post at the northern
exit from the capital of Dagestan Makhachkala, Itar-Tass was told at a
standby unit of the Dagestani main road police department.
The source said that firing continued shortly after the incident. It
is supposedly a sniper shooting, the police duty officer said. It is
already a second attack on stationary police posts in Dagestan on Saturday.
