Vladivostok-Avia ready to open regular flights between Yekaterinburg, China.
YEKATERINBURG, August 18 (Itar-Tass) -- The Vladivostok-Avia airlines is ready to open regular flights from Yekaterinburg to China already this autumn, the press service of the Yekaterinburg Koltsovo airport told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
"The Federal Air Transport Agency has issued permission to the airport
for handling A-330 aircrafts and its modifications," the press service
said, adding, "The airport, in turn, has already confirmed the first slots
for A-330 flights belonging to Vladivostok-Avia."
"The upgrading of the first airport runway, bearing tracks, an apron
and parking ramps, that was held in 2008-2009, made it possible the
Koltsovo airport to receive the aforesaid types of aircrafts without
limitations," the press service said.
The airport's technical personnel completed training and received
certificates for handling A-330 aircrafts.
At present the Koltsovo airport has the permission for handling of 42
kinds of Russian and foreign-made aircrafts, the press service said.
