Russian President to make official visit to Mongolia Aug 25-26.
MOSCOW, August 19 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is
expected to make an official visit to Mongolia August 25 and August 26 at the invitation of that country's President, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, the Kremlin press service said.
In the course of the visit, Medvedev will take part in jubilee
festivities dedicated to the 70th anniversary since the battle on the
river Khalkhin Gol, in which the Soviet and Mongolian forces defeated the
Japanese Kwantung Army.
