The press release of the Ministry of Energy and Mining, on 19 August said that Se Bangfai River flooded Mahasay, Se Bangfai and Nongbok districts in Khammouane province and Saybouly district in Savannakhet province last week.
The flooding did not relate to the release of water from the Nam Theun 2 Hydroelectric Project.
