PRODUCTION OF AZERBAIJAN WINE MAKERS SUCCEED AT SOROCHINSKY FAIR
Kyiv, 21 August (AzerTAc). In the village Bolshoye Sorochintsy of the Poltava Oblast, Ukraine, successfully is underway the National Sorochinsky Fair, once glorified by Nikolay Gogol, whose 200th anniversary is widely marked in Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko attending the event has underlined that Sorochinsky Fair became national holiday which brightly represents creativity of national masters.
At his words, the Sorochinsky Fair has stopped existence in 1920, and is now renewed as an element of national tradition.
During the Fair, Azerbaijani brands and pomegranate wine “Pearl of Azerbaijan” produced by Azeri-Ukr-France JV, as well as the dishes of the Azerbaijan national cuisin were on great demand.
