Laos-ROK further co-operation on legislation
(KPL) Mr. Saysomphone Phomvihane, Vice President of the National Assembly, received at his office in Vientiane on Monday a courtesy visit of the Republic of Korea (ROK)-ASEAN Friendship Association led by its President Vang Voya.
The ROK-ASEAN delegation arrived here on 22 August for a short working visit to Laos as guest of the National Assembly.At the talks, Mr. Saysomphone Phomvihane praised and highly valued the visit to Laos of the ROK delegation as a contribution to strengthening the friendly relation and co-operation between Laos and the Republic of Korea. The host and guest also talked about a number of co-operation programmes between Laos and the Republic of Korea, especially in the field of legislation.
The sides also informed each other of the socio-economic development as well as the achievements of the foreign investment in their country, especially the investments of Korean investors in Laos. The Vice NA President also briefed his guest of Laos’ preparation for hosting the coming 25th SEA Games.
