AZERI CHILDREN SUCCESSFUL IN INT`L FOLK FESTIVAL

Baku, 27 August (AzerTAc). Azeri children were successful in the First International Folk Festival of Children with limited ability of health supported by RF Ministry of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy and the Moscow State Socio-Humanitarian Institute held in the frame of “Youth Year” for the children from the CIS member countries. The festival passed through 20-23 August in Moscow.
The goal of the festival, as stated, was to find new talents among the CIS children with limited ability of health, to develop their creativity and promote them to closely integrate the society. One of the major targets was to activate the public and social organizations to bring such children closer for friendly communication.
With attendance of more than 100 children, the Festival demonstrated their ability in nominations of vocal and instrumental performance, decorative-applied art, folklore and dancing.
At 3-day event, Azerbaijan was represented by 7 children who admired the Festival audience, taking prizes in several nominations.
