Gayatri Consciousness Center opened in New Jersey

New Jersey, Sep 2 (PTI) A new centre to explain and study
Gayatri Mantra in a scientific manner has been opened in the
US city of New Jersey.

The centre aims at providing a source of spiritual
development through awakening of Gayatri consciousness.

Indian rituals including "Yagya" and "Sanskars" with
parallel explanations of their scientific basis would be
provided by the 'Gayatri Chetna Center' located at Piscataway
in New Jersey.

Regular "Yoga" and "Pranayam" classes will be provided
for the development of physical and metal stamina.

Spiritual education classes for kids, youth and adults
will be based on the study of ancient scriptures such as
Vedas, Upanishad, Puran and the Gita.

The centre, one of the largest such centres of the All
World Gayatri Pariwar in the US was inaugurated by Dr Pranav
Pandya and Shailbla Pandya, the patrons of the Haridwar-based
All World Gayatri Pariwar.

A large number of Indian Americans attended the event
