Indian Cabinet condoles Reddy`s demise

New Delhi, Sep 3 (PTI) Indian Cabinet Thursday condoled
the death of Chief Minister of southern state of Andhra
Pradesh Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who died in a helicopter crash,
and decided to accord him a state funeral.

The national flag will fly at half mast here and at all
state capitals Thursday and Friday, Information and
Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni told reporters after the
meeting chaired by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

She said all central and state government offices in
Andhra Pradesh will remain closed Friday.

The Cabinet also observed a two-minute silence to mourn
his death. PTI
