AZERI BOXERS MAKE SUCCESSFUL START TO WORLD TITLE RUN
Baku, September 4 (AzerTAc). Two Azerbaijani boxers have made a successful start to their run for the world title in the 69kg and 91kg divisions in Milan.
Emil Maharramov secured his win after beating Ghana`s Habib Ahmadi, while Elchin Alizade was victorious over Manganye Massane of South Africa.
The next round will pit Maharramov and Alizade against Kazak Serik Saypiyev and Russian Yegor Mekhontsev respectively.
