AZERI FILMMAKER PRESENTS HIS WORK AT MONTREAL FESTIVAL
Baku, September 4 (AzerTAc). “Gala” (The Fortress) by Azerbaijani film director Shamil Najafzadeh has been screened at the 33rd Montreal World Film Festival, the Azerbaijani embassy to Canada reported.
The film joined Oscar ceremony last year. It will be inaugurated for the Azerbaijani spectators on October 2 at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.
Founded in 1977, the Montreal World Film Festival is recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers' Associations as the only competitive festival in North America.
