The official said all other equipments that had broken
into pieces after the crash and recovered from the wreckage
site have been handed over to DGCA team for re-assembling.
Meena said the Cockpit Voice Recorder, flight operation
documents, report of the bomb squad team, a copy of the
'panchnama' (a list of items recovered from crash site) as
police have registered a case, CDs containing video and photos
of the crash site, were handed over to the DGCA team.
The Cockpit Voice Recorder and some more parts of the
copter traced by the Greyhounds--the elite anti-naxalite
commando from the crash site at Nallamalla forest range
Saturday, would also be examined by another probe team set up
by Civil Aviation Ministry led R K Tyagi, Chairman and
Managing Director of Pawan Hans Helicopter. The team is
reaching Kurnool on Tuesday, the Collector said.
He said the report of the autopsy conducted on Reddy and
four others, was awaited.
The charred remains of YSR, his Principal Secretary P
Subrahmanyam, Chief Security Officer A S C Wesley, pilot Group
Captain S K Bhatia and co-pilot M S Reddy on board the
twin-engine copter was spotted on the Rudrakonda Hill, about
70 kms east of Kurnool, by IAF helicopters on Thursday
morning.
The helicopter which was on its way to Chittoor and
deviated 18 kms from its path, had hit a cliff of a hillock,
crashed and exploded. PTI
