CHIEF OF INTERNATIONAL DIASPORA CENTER PARTICIPATES IN ANNIVERSARY CONFERENCE OF BELARUS UNIVERSITY
Baku, September 12 (AzerTAc). Chairman of the International Diaspora Center Ismayil Agayev has attended the conference to mark the anniversary of the Baranovichi State University of Belarus
Agayev told of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, sorest point for Azerbaijan. He presented to the University`s administration the Azerbaijani carpet as well as the book “Karabakh truth” and other publications telling about Armenia`s aggression.
The event was attended by Belarus MPs and other officials. At the meetings with Belarus officials, Agayev touched upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and Belarus-Azerbaijan relationship.
Ambassador met with Azerbaijanis living in Belarus to discuss their problems and ways of developing Azerbaijan Diaspora. It was decided to establish the Belarus office of the International Diaspora Center.
Chairman of the Center is starting his trips to Poland and Czech Republic on September 12. Agayev will visit Strasbourg at the end of his Europe tour to learn about the applications to the European Court of Human Rights on deportation of Western Azerbaijanis submitted by the Center.
