BAKU TO HOST ISLAMIC CULINARY FESTIVAL
Baku, September 13 (AzerTAc). Chefs from Islamic countries will gather in the Azeri capital next month for an international festival, according to the ministry of culture and tourism.
The 6-day festival will be part of a series of events Baku has been hosting through the year in the capacity of the Capital of Islamic Culture for 2009.
The chefs will be joined by counterparts from CIS countries as well as Iceland and Serbia to compete in 9 categories.
The jury panel will consist of experts of the International Culinary Federation.
