EXIHIBITON OF AZERBAIJAN`S OIL INDUSTRY ORGANIZED IN BAKU
Baku, September 16 (AzerTAc). An exhibition dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Contract of the Century and the 130th anniversary of Nobel brothers` activity in Azerbaijan opened in the Museum Center.
Azerbaijan`s Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev praised significance of the Contract and merits of Nobel brothers in development of Azerbaijan`s oil industry.
Head of Azerbaijan`s State Oil Company (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev briefed about history of the oil industry, and importance of the Contract of the Century initiated by nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.
The exhibition participants familiarized themselves with a book “The Nobels and Baku oil” and watched the 8-minute documentary of Nobel brothers and Azebaijan`s oil industry.
The organizers of the event are Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, SOCAR and “ StatoilHydro-Absheron” Company.
