Shuvalov to represent Russia at UN summit on climate change

UNITED NATIONS, September 17 (Itar-Tass) - Russia's first vice-premier
Igor Shuvalov will represent Russia at the United Nations Summit on
Climate Change, a source at the Russian Permanent Representation at the
United Nations told Itar-Tass.
The high-level meeting on climate change will be held at the U.N.
headquarters on the initiative of the U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon.
Shuvalov is expected to arrive in New York on Thursday. He will
deliver a speech at a roundtable meeting the next day.
The heads of state and government of many countries will attend
meetings within the framework of the upcoming forum.
President Barack Obama will represent the United States at the summit.
