G20 addresses crisis issues better than G8 - Medvedev.

PITTSBURGH, September 26 (Itar-Tass) -- Russian President Dmitry
Medvedev believes that the specialization of the G8 group must be subject
to revision.
"The G8 countries are unable to resolve the greatest problems of the
world economy today, but the G20 can do that, of which the results of the
summit in Pittsburgh are evidence," Medvedev told the final news
conference.
The Russian president believes that many participants in the G20
summit have developed the awareness that "forums are many and they have to
be minimized."
This year the great number of economic forums was due to the crisis.
No decisions regarding likely future formats have been made so far.
Medvedev said that at this point only G8 and G20 meetings have been
scheduled for next year.
