Turkmenistan sends delegation to inter-govt commission meeting in Moscow

ASHGABAT, October 3 (Itar-Tass) -- Turkmen President Gurbanguly
Berdymukhamedov will send a delegation to Moscow.
The delegation, composed of members of the government and businessmen,
will attend the 4th meeting of the bilateral inter-governmental commission
on economic cooperation and a meeting of the business council to be held
in the first 10 days of October.
This will be the second trip to Moscow by Turkmenistani officials.
Exhibitions of consumer goods, concerts of Turkmenistani performers, and
business forums with the participation of businessmen from the two
countries were held in Moscow in March during Berdymukhamedov's state
visit to Russia.
In August, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visited Turkmenistan. St.
Petersburg Governor Valentina Matviyenko visited Ashgabat in September.
She signed a 700 million U.S. dollar contract for the construction of
roads and bridges.
