HEAD OF OSCE OFFICE IN BAKU MEETS REPRESENTATIVES OF POLITICAL PARTIES IN GANJA
Ganja, 17 October (AzerTAc). Concerning forthcoming municipality elections, the head of the OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel met representatives of 9 political parties functioning in Ganja, the second largest city of Azerbaijan.
The OSCE official and politicians exchanged views on various issues, including registration of nominees and illegal interference of local authorities in polling process.
Cankorel raised awareness of the politicians about OSCE obligations on elections and its action plan to make contribution to holding elections in democratic manner.
