AZERBAIJANI OMBUDSMAN MEETS USAID PROJECT MANAGER
Baku, October 18 (AzerTAc). Commissioner for Human Rights Elmira Suleymanova met with manager of the USAID-funded Primary Health Care Strengthening Project Olga Zues to discuss actions scheduled and future plans.
Project manager said two new components – fighting tuberculosis and reproductive health actions – have been added to the project this year.
Ombudsman noted that National Action Plan for Human Rights Protection envisages some actions to ensure the right to health. She also spoke about family planning and reproductive health projects.
