Ahmed said the condition of 13 out of the 22
passengers injured are serious. Out of the 13 serious
patients, three each have been sent to AIIMS in New Delhi and
Pushpanjali hospital in Agra and one to Apollo hospital in the
capital.

Meanwhile, local Congress MLA Pradeep Mathur alleged
that some anti-social elements aboard Goa Express wanted to
escape in the dark and they pulled the chain, resulting in the
accident.
Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee too has said in
Kolkata that according to a preliminary report, "there was an
incident of chain-pulling.
"It is being investigated whether this caused the
accident," Banerjee said. PTI MPB
