IRAN PREFERS TURKEY'S "DEDEMAN" TO RUN A HOTEL
ANTALYA (A.A) - 30.10.2009 - Turkey's Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International will undertake management of a hotel in Shiraz city of Iran in 2010.
Dedeman thus became the first foreign and Turkish hotel management enterprise to enter Iran after 30 years.
Tayfun Doskaya, regional director of Dedeman, told A.A correspondent on Friday that Dedeman Hotels would undertake management of a 360-bed capacity hotel in Baku, Azerbaijan and another in Shiraz city of Iran in 2010.
Doskaya said many international trademarks applied to assume management of the hotel that has 200-bed capacity in Shiraz, but a Turkish brand was preferred.
He said the hotel would be put into service next March, noting that this could be achieved thanks to success of Dedeman's hotels in Syria, respect of the administrators to rules and traditions and high standards in services.
