TRAINING COURSE ON INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS HELD IN AZERBAIJAN DIPLOMATIC ACADEMY
Baku, November 6 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) has hosted a training course aimed at increasing awareness on international relations, international human rights and humanitarian law.
Co-conducted by the Center for International Administration of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) of Geneva and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the course has provided a platform for an in-depth analysis of human rights and humanitarian law with reference to the practical challenges in a multilateral setting.
The training mainly focused on four modules. Professor of the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Pol Mertz delivered a speech on the first module of the training on the theme “Process of International negotiations”.
The second module on international human rights was delivered by IHEID professor Andrea Byanki.
Spokesman of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elkhan Polukhov updated the participants on Azerbaijan’s foreign policy, its strategy and international relations.
