RUSSIAN PRESIDENT CONGRATULATES CAUCASIAN CLERICAL LEADER ON HIS JUBILEE
Baku, 6 November (AzerTAc). Russia`s President Dmitry Medvedev phoned the head of the Caucasian Muslims' Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade and congratulated him on his 60th jubilee and 30th anniversary of his appointment to this high position, ITAR-TASS said quoting the Kremlin press service as reporting.
Head of the Russian State wished the Sheikhulislam robust health and success in his noble activity, stating that on November 5 he decreed on conferring the Glory Order upon Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, for his enlightenment and spiritual mission, active contribution in inter-religious relations and strengthening the Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation.
