BAKU HOSTS ROUND TABLE ON YOUTH POLICY OF CIS MEMBER STATES


Baku, November 6 (AzerTAc). A round table entitled “Youth policy of CIS member states: achievements, problems and perspectives” was held here today as part of the Youth Days of the CIS.
The event, attended by hundreds of youth representatives, focused on issues of cooperation in the Commonwealth space.
Speaking to the event, rector of the State Administration Academy Seyfaddin Gandilov hailed Azerbaijani government`s attention to education of youth.
Touching upon the Academy`s successful cooperation with a number of foreign educational institutions, Gandilov said “this cooperation creates excellent opportunity for Azerbaijani youth to study abroad”.
The other speakers praised the event, organized by Azerbaijan saying “such events positively impacts on their future activity”.
Azerbaijan`s Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Intigam Babayev said “this event will give an opportunity for exchange of views and will help to creation new friendly ties, which is very important for future cooperation”.
The attendees of the Youth Days of the CIS will see exhibitions of young artists and photographers, concerts and will taste traditional cousins of numerous countries.
