LUKOIL rated 8th biggest oil&gas company in Europe, MidEast, Africa.
MOSCOW, November 21 (Itar-Tass) -- The Russian oil major LUKOIL has
taken the eighth line on a prestigious list of oil and gas companies of
Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the twelfth line on a list of world
oil and gas leaders.
As follows from LUKOIL's news release the corresponding ratings were
awarded to it by the US energy agency Platts, which annually issues a list
of the world's top 250 energy companies.
The companies were rated by four main parameters - assets, revenues,
profit and return on investment.
In the Platts list for 2008 LUKOIL held 8th and 11th place
respectively, in 2007 6th and 11th places, in 2006, 6th and 15th places,
and in 2005, 9th and 16th places, Prime-Tass reports.
