CIS agriculture ministers to discuss post-crisis cooperation.

MOSCOW, November 24 (Itar-Tass) - Agriculture ministers of the
Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will meet in Ashgabat on
Wednesday to discuss cooperation in the post-crisis period, Secretary of
the CIS Executive Committee Sergei Lebedev told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
The first agricultural forum of CIS states, to be attended by
agriculture ministers, business people, and scientists will take place in
Turkmenistan's capital on November 25-27.
Lebedev said the program of the forum is quite extensive. There will
workshops involving leading CIS scientists in the field of agriculture,
and an exhibition of products by agribusinesses and agricultural machinery.
