Ministry of Healthcare answers the questions of “direct link”
Astana, November 27, 2009 (Khabar) - Ministry of Healthcare answers the questions of “direct link” with the President before December 1. People will be able to read the answers on special site of “direct link”, over 1 700 questions concerned healthcare in Kazakhstan. Residents of Astana, Almaty, South and East Kazakhstan were most of all interested in medicine. Special working group studies the received questions.
Faizulla Bismildin, director of department of administrative and legal work of Ministry of Healthcare of Kazakhstan:
- We have already begun to answer questions. We have already answered about 300 questions and gave explanations. For example, people ask which pills can be bought according to preferential prescription, or to which clinic they will be attached in connection with new unified health system, or people ask how they can get treatment in the republican medical clinics, which package of documents must be collected in order to get quota.
On the site in "Health" part, the request for quotas on treatment is almost every second question. Every year, tens of thousands of Kazakhstanis undergo expensive treatment and operations and get a real chance to live and work normally due to the state support. For example, more than seven and a half thousand patients were operated and returned to life at the National Scientific and Medical Center in Astana during eleven months of this year. Almaty resident Marzhan Sultanova is one of them. Doctors set an artificial mitral valve. Today, she is already preparing for discharge and a meeting with relatives.
The Ministry of Health plans to answer questions, consider the suggestions and complaints of Kazakhstan before December 1. Clarification of specialists will be published on the site of “direct link”. The ministry promises to answer all the questions.
