"ANIMAL SACRIFICE" HELPS STRENGTHEN CAMARADERIE, SAYS BERNAMA CHAIRMAN

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- The "ibadah korban" (animal sacrifice)
carried out through "gotong-royong" (self-help) helps to meet religious
obligations as well as strengthens the bond of camaraderie, Malaysian National
News Agency (Bernama) chairman Mohd Annuar Zaini said Saturday.

It helped to foster goodwill between the employer and employees, for
example, and this assisted the management in identifying and finding ways to
resolve staff problems when both sides were able to communicate openly, he
added.

"When the management and staff gather in a cordial atmosphere such as this
(ibadah korban), the interaction helps to strengthen their relationship and any
problem arising can be resolved," he said when approached at the "ibadah korban"
held at Wisma Bernama, here.
