Counteraction to corruption as a priority of state policy of Kazakhstan
Aktobe, December 01, 2009, Khabar - This was leitmotif of anti-corruption forum, which was organized by Aktobe regional office of “Nur Otan” People’s Democratic party. The agenda included realization of regional program on corruption fighting and plans for the nearest future. The number of corrupted crimes decreased to 13% in Aktobe region if compared with the previous year. The party members are sure process of consolidation of society on corruption fighting is developed in the region.
Balgali Ordabayev, secretary of maslikhat of Aktobe region:
- The level of legal awareness noticeable rose in our region. And party does its best in this sphere, every sphere and every department works on solution of this problem. And that’s why we see the progress in this affair.
Four people left the party and about 100 officials were drawn to the responsibility for corrupted violations since the beginning of this year. All of them are representatives of middle link at various regional departments. The party members are sure the leaders of guilty officials also must be responsible for law violation.
The forum has elaborated the recommendations on such important themes as participation of non-governmental sector in organization of anti-corruption public union, using of possibilities of e-government in eliminating of corruption and role of mass media in forming of anti-corruption awareness. Realization of such integrated approach will become the main direction of work of regional office the next year, party members say.
