New governor of Zhambyl region is appointed

Taraz, December 01, 2009, Khabar - The prime minister of Kazakhstan has presented a new head of the Zhambyl region, Kanat Bozumbayev. Members of the regional government gave unanimous support for the candidacy of Kanat Bozumbayev, who graduated from the State Academy of Management in economics. Previously, he had been working in the ministries of energy and trade and industry and the KEGOC Company for over 10 years. Kanat Bozumbayev said that he will do his best to achieve good socio-economic indicators. On behalf of the president, the prime minister thanked the former head of the region Boribai Zheksembin for his implementation of the tasks with which he was commissioned.

- On behalf of the president, I would like to thank you Boribai for our joint work. I believe that during these years, we have implemented all the requests of the president. During the last three years, we have been working in unison in order to tackle these missions.

Decree of the head of state dismissed Boribai Zheksembin, governor of Zhambyl region in connection with his transfer to another job. According to the decree of the President Kanat Bozumbayev has taken this post.
