IAE AND SPIRIT AEROSYSTEMS SIGN CONTRACT FOR MANUFACTURE OF AEROSPACE

LANGKAWI (Malaysia), Dec 1 (Bernama) -- Indonesian Aerospace (IAe) and
Spirit AeroSystems (Europe) Limited today signed a contract to manufacture
aircraft components for Airbus A320, A321, A330, A340 and A350 XWB aircraft at
the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2009 (LIMA 09).

For the last five years, IAe manufactured Airbus components such as D-nose,
Pylon Assemblies and Leading Edge Skins on behalf of Spirit AeroSystems.

The contract is an extension of the workload for a further five years, IAe
said in a statement here Tuesday.

IAe President Director Budi Santoso said the contract was proof of
Indonesia's capabilities in manufacturing international standard aircraft
components.

IAe is one of the indigenous aerospace company in Asia with core competence
in aircraft design, development and manufacturing of civilian and military
regional commuter aircraft.

Since its establishment in 1976, the company has not only successfully
exploited its ability as an industry of manufacture, but has diversified its
products not only in the field of aircraft but also in information technology,
automotive, maritime, simulation technology, industrial turbine and engineering
services.
