Corruption fighting is a priority of state policy

Almaty, December 02, 2009, Khabar - Almaty mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov has again reminded this during anti-corruption forum organized by Almaty office of “Nur Otan” party. The members of Parliament, governors of regions, heads of municipal services, and representatives of Republican Council on corruption fighting under “Nur Otan” party have discussed results of work, reasons and conditions that foster corrupted offenses. The program of “Nur Otan”, “ Ten crushing blows of corruption” helps to eliminate this evil. Actions that were held together with law enforcement agencies gave concrete results. Actions “Pure session” and “Road without corruption” were held. According to Akhmetzhan Yessimov, scientific developments on this subject should be used, and not only law enforcement and financial authorities must fight corruption but also judges. As Almaty mayor has said, the official mustn’t be afraid of question “For which money do you live”?

- A corrupted person robs our society in a direct way. Robs our income, we lack the part of the budget because money goes away, not imposing anything on the left - right. It goes to somebody's pockets. So the question is very serious, which disturbs the whole society.
