Discussion of draft of National unity doctrine

Taldykorgan, December 02, 2009, Khabar – A regular session of regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan has taken place in Taldykorgan where people discussed the draft of National unity doctrine. The doctrine was proposed by the head of state at the 15th session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. Almaty region is perhaps one of the most multinational regions where 103 ethnic groups live. Therefore, the preservation of national unity is given priority. One year ago Friendship House was built in Taldykorgan. 23 regional ethno-cultural associations work here now. Palace of Languages is being built nearby. The session participants noted that National unity doctrine should become one of the fundamental documents of public life.

Saniyam Zulyarova, deputy of regional maslikhat:
- Being a teacher I was very touched with a topic of upbringing in our younger generation. Especially upbringing of patriot of country who could love and appreciate his country and be always ready to protect it.

The address to population of region has been adopted according to the results of session with appeal to take part in discussion of doctrine. And suggestions will be sent to the central office of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
