EUROCOPTER TO RAKE IN ABOUT US$148 MLN IN SALES FOR FY 2011

LANGKAWI (Malaysia), Dec 3 (Bernama) -- Spurred by the growing demand for
helicopters in the Asian region, Eurocopter Malaysia Sdn Bhd, expects to garner
RM500 million (US$148.06 million) in sales by the financial year ending 2011.

Its president and chief executive officer, Pierre Nardelli said the company
was confident of achieving RM300 million (US$88.86 million) in sales this year,
as demand for helicopters starts to pick-up on the back of a gradual recovery
from the global economic crisis.

"There is a need for helicopters around the region in almost all sectors.
Oil and gas, for example, is one of the demanding sectors in need of
helicopters," he told reporters on the sidelines of the Langkawi
International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (Lima 2009) here Thursday.

Eurocopter Malaysia had earlier signed a sales agreement with Solaire Sdn
Bhd, for a Eurocopter EC145.

Nardelli said Eurocopter Malaysia is also expected to leverage on
the strength of LIMA 2009 to capture more business in future.

Eurocopter Malaysia has now a 50 per cent civilian market share and 38
percent for the military in Malaysia.

During LIMA, the company is expected to seal a memorandum of understanding
(MoU) and two sales agreements worth of US$10 million.

Eurocopter Malaysia has at present facilities in Subang on the outskirts of
Kuala Lumpur, in East Malaysia city of Miri and in east coast town of Kerteh.

It provides a broad spectrum of services, ranging from scheduled and
unscheduled maintenance to aircraft modifications (retrofits, painting, interior
refurbishment and customisation) as well as logistics support (spare parts,
repairs and overhaul).

Eurocopter Malaysia has currently an order book totalling RM500 million to
last until 2011.
