MALUKU FAMOUS FOR ITS MARINE PARK
Ambon, Maluku, Dec 3 (ANTARA) - Maluku province famous for its tourist spots including its marine park, is trying hard to attract more local and foreign tourists.
"The tourist attractions need to be promoted to the outside world," Maluku Governor Karel Albert Ralahalu said in his written address when opening the Indonesians National Tourism Ambassador Seminar in Ambon Wednesday.
Ralahalu said that the central government has declared Maluku as one of Indonesian tourism destinations, in line with the strategic plan of tourism development.
He hoped that the national tourism ambassadors seminar would trigger the people of Maluku to exploit coastal and marine professionals.
