MALAYSIA, INDONESIAN ORGANISE JOINT AIDILADHA PRAYERS IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian and Indonesian embassies in
the Czech Republic made history when they organised a joint Aidiladha prayers
last Friday.

Malaysian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Zainal Abidin Bakar said it was
meant to forge closer relations between Malaysia and Indonesia, especially among
the citizens of the two countries in the republic.

The Indonesian Ambassador to the Czech Republic is Salim Said.

"It was the first for us all," said Zainal Abidin in an e-mail to Bernama
Friday.

After the prayers, the Malaysian and Indonesian community enjoyed a feast of
special Hari Raya delicacies from both countries.

“We are planning to hold a similar event for Hari Raya Aidil Fitri at my
residence in future," said Zainal Abidin.
