National Science Park forms in Borikhamsay
Vientine, June 4 (KPL) - A ground-breaking ceremony for constructing the National Science Park at Ban Nongna, Paksan, Borikhamsay province, took place last Friday.
Attending the ceremony were Minister to Prime Minister's Office Bountiem Phitsamay and concerned officials.
At the function, Dr. Bountiem highlighted the importance of the park, which will be used as a training centre for upgrading government officials on science, fauna and flora and as a relaxation place for visitors.
The park is to be constructed on 900 ha with a grant worth over US$ 448,000 from Italy Government. - end.
