MALAYSIAN DPM MEETS TOP EXECUTIVES OF TOKUYAMA, MITSUI & SOJITZ

TOKYO, Dec 8 (Bernama) -– Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin held meetings with top executives of Tokuyama Corporation, Mitsui Engineering Shipbuilding and Sojitz Corporation here, Tuesday.

They include Tokuyama President Kazuhisa Kogo, who is also General Manager
of the Malaysia project promotion division and its Managing Director, Hiroo
Momose, who is also Deputy General Manager of the Malaysian project promotion
division.

Mitsui Engineering was represented by its President, Yasuhiko Kato and
Managing Director, Business Development and Innovation Headquarters, Ryoichi
Jinkawa and from Sojitz was its President and Chief Executive Officer, Yutake
Kase.

Malaysian Ambassador to Japan, Shaharuddin Md Som, MIDA
Director-General Jalilah Baba, International Trade and Industry Ministry
Deputy Secretary-General (Trade) Dr Rebecca Fatima Sta Maria, MIDA Senior
Director Azman Mahmud and MIDA Tokyo Director N.Rajendiran were among Malaysian
delegates present at the meeting.

Muhyiddin is in Japan leading a four-day specific trade and investment
mission, which began on Monday.

After Tokyo, he will leave for Osaka later Tuesday where he is scheduled to
meet Malaysian students and professionals.
