Indonesian Ambassador bids farewell to NA President

(KPL) Indonesian ambassador Sutkiptoharjo Donokusumo on 8 December paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Thongsing Thammavong, President of the National Assembly of the Lao PDR, to bid farewell at the end of his three-year diplomatic mission in Laos.
During the meeting, Mr. Thongsing congratulated the outgoing Indonesian ambassador for contributing to the enhancement of relations and co-operation between the Lao PDR and the Republic of Indonesia. He also reaffirmed that the relations between the two countries, Laos and Indonesia, was long-standing. At present, these relations are being progressively upgraded and developed.
Mr. Thongsing also wished his Indonesian guest good success in his new mission and a good trip home.
The outgoing ambassador thanked the Lao NA President and Lao officials at all levels for providing support and facilities which helped him successfully fulfill his diplomatic duty in Laos. He also reaffirmed his continuing support for the strong relations and co-operation between Indonesia and the Lao PDR.
