EDUCATE CHILDREN ON ONLINE DANGERS, PARENTS TOLD

SIBU (Malaysia), Dec 10 (Bernama) -- Sarawak Environment and Public Health
Minister Wong Soon Koh has advised parents to educate children on the dangers
which lurk online.

He said their actvities should also be monitored to minimise the risk of
inappropriate contact or harmful content delivered to them while online.

Wong said this when officiating a 'Protecting Children In Cyberspace'
workshop Wednesday.

The workshop was jointly organised by the Sarawak chapter of the Malaysian
Communications and Multimedia Commission and the information department here.

Sarawak is an East Malaysia state.
